Hello i have an extented Standardmodel which predicts a new tensorboson (Spin = 2).
This could be the new detected particle with 750 GeV
The extended symmetries has a second symmetriebreaking for gravitation.
The symmetries come from the coxeterelement of the affine exceptional group E9
which ist the extension of E8.

Actually i am working on it to develope the langrangian for it (like the higgsmechanism).
After that i will post an english paper.

Where is any quantitative prediction? Or at least a calculation of values that got measured already?

After finishing the lagragian for the SU(5)xSU(3)xSU(2)xU(1)xU(1) with 2 symmetriebreaks (1 for photon 1 for graviton) i will translate it in english to upload it on arxiv.mfb wrote:"published". When do we see it in a peer-reviewed journal? Or at least on arXiv?

Actually i uploaded one on VIXRA to save that the idea is mine.
You will see that it is the right symmetrie to find answers to the most open problems in physics.
It describes the dark energie,the dark matter the 3 generations and predicts a new particle
which i think that it is the new particle which was found on LHC.
It is to good to fail.
every thing fits well no matter what you thinking about it.

But i think new results are expected not until end of summer.

As long as it does not make any quantitative prediction, it is completely useless.It describes the dark energie,the dark matter the 3 generations and predicts a new particle
which i think that it is the new particle which was found on LHC.

I am still working on it to convince other people with concrete lagragian and so on.
Do the 300 new articles which will explain the new particle all predict the mass and so on?

No, but all those theories still allow to calculate everything in the standard model, they are checked against muon and electron g-2 measurements and so on.Do the 300 new articles which will explain the new particle all predict the mass and so on?
What does your approach predict for g-2 measurements? Do you even know what that is?

So nothing against the standardmodel.
It is an extension of the standardmodel!
There are many evidences so that im sure the model is the right one (sigma five from me).
At first the new symmetrie is not a fantasy from me.
It comes from the coxeterelement of the flat E9 Group (one point extension of E8 Group).
Evidences are:
1) natural way to show the 3 Generations (Fields like the Higgsfield for SU(5),SU(3) and SU(2))
2) natural way to show the graviton as mixture like the photon (second symmetriebreak)
3) the new higgsfield for the SU(5) (Oktoquintenfield) shows the dark energy by the cosmological constant.
4) it predicts one more particle because the new higgsfield (Oktoquintenfield 40 degrees of freedom) has 40 -24 = 16 = 4x4 free degrees
which can be stimulated to a Spin = 2 Tensorboson.
As i said "too good to fail" no matter what anybody is talking about it.
I know it is on me to show more facts to win other people for it.

Often only statistical significance is discussed, but especially here the background model is in this case not just a simple fit, more an extrapolation in regions with very low event counts. The idea is that jets misinterpreted as photons might disturb the background shape at higher energies.

The corresponding paper got discussed here. Someone (search for "23 July 2016 at 07:50") made some valid points about the quality of the statistical analysis in the paper.

Any info from the conference I haven't been able to find anything. I am guessing by the silence they bump disappeared.
