Eye oopsie

Post by Xymox » Mon Feb 08, 2010 7:03 am

I had a bit of a emergency eye issue about 10 days ago. I woke up and had almost 100% cloudy vision.

Turns out I had seriously high pressures in both my eyes.

Medical intervention ensued. After so much eye probing it was ridiculous it was determined I have kinda complex glaucoma. Some investigation and 4 eye doc trips later they drcided on SLT Laser surgery. Amoung other things..

"painless, 15 minute proceedure"

NOT

That was a week ago and ive been through hell. They were complications. I am taking 5 different eye drops applied all at different intervals. Also im supposed to rest my eyes, not to mention its been painful to even blink...

Sooo..... I have not been able to participate on the forum right now like I want to.

Things seem however to be going very well now. Yesterday I was free of any pain and my vision is remarkbly better then it was before all this happened. It still seems to be improving as well. I have a eye doc appt tomorrow and we will see what he says. I am however taking things carefully and slowly not stressing my eyes at all in any way.

So please hang in there, I will be back shortly to have fun with you guys right in time it looks like.

So just a update on where I have been...

Hang on there Chris!
We all think of you.
For the nitpickers among you: Yes that is an implicit assumption. Let's just say it sounds nice, and hope that Chris can't read these tiny letters. :shifty:

wow....

well thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on my way to be better then before...

BUT still annoyed trying to use my contacts for very long at all. I dont have glasses and I am very nearsighted so its really hard to use a computer...

I will be back on more shortly..

MUST get ready for the BIG start up..

I came on tonight specifically to deal with Controversial Forum issues !.. Man that forum sure is, ummm,,,, inflammatory, much like my eye surgery ! and at times its just as annoying !

Thank you !.. Things are moving along well. My eyeballs seem happier, but sore and recovering.
