Howdy,

Anyone else seen the tv series Chernobyl? :scared-shocked:

A great example how business and personal ambition overrules commonsense. With the unthinkable as a result.

This was still nuclear and containable, when you go sub-nuclear there’s nothing that can enclose a chain-reaction.

BTW I visited the FCC (Future Collider Conference) week, a few months ago, and they’re planning some …

Anyways, just saying if you’re playing with the extreme forces in the Universe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Chelle!!!!

I'm so pleased you are still around! I was actually going to watch this but just didn't! Did I miss out?

Oh and how are you??? Tell me should we start a thread in misc about the flat earth?? Please tell me you don't believe it lol. :naughty:  :axe:

Hi Charms!

Yup yup, I’m still around, almost my 10 year anniversary!

The series is okay, it’s is a bit cliché and simplistic at times but it has some cool moments. I binge watched it and enjoyed it. Memorable. : )

Haha, no flat Earth for me, I can’t believe those people really exist. I’m guessing they’re just trolling, although a mind can sometimes be lost.

BTW cool to see you still hanging around, running things, not a lot happening … how are you?

Chelle!!

10 years! That's mad! It's been an absolute pleasure.

I'm convinced that flat earthers are the biggest hoax in the world. These people cannot believe what they preach. I think it's all one big joke and they are actually laughing at the people that are following them and believing every word lol.

I'm ok thank you. Had a rough couple of years, Hubby lost his mum and dad in 2017 both exactly 4 months apart. But we are getting there slowly. Thing is, what are we going to do till we are back up and running haha.

P.S
Are we well? Family ok? What you up to these days?

Howdy Charms,

Sad to hear that you’ve had a rough time family-wise.

What I’m up to is still trying to build a simulator that is a kind of TOE, and prove that the LHC is some dangerous monkey business.

It’s a simple idea but quite complex to program, but maybe just maybe I’ll get it to work next year. I might have found someone who might be able to help me out … I know lots of weasel words … life is tough when you’re a ‘fringe scientist’.

Cheers,
m.

The LHC is dangerous?

Tell me why you think this! Remember layman terms 😁 I could do with something to distract myself from the stuff that's going on in my head 👍😊

In layman terms:

Think of a candle that can light up the room. The hazard with a candle is that it can set a room on fire when you tip it over … but its heat is not able to burn and destroy the smallest elements on Earth: Electrons and Protons.

Now the LHC is also a kind of candle, just a very tiny one, and this one is able to ‘burn’ those small elements.

Now imagine that the fire and heat of the LHC-candle keeps increasing until it flashes over and starts burning all the Protons and Electrons on our Planet … then everything including you and the stuff in your head will be turned to dust.

What’s left is a spark in the nightsky.

And your simulator will be able to stop this from happening?

I know we are in an exciting time in science, and when the LHC is up and running again it's going to be energies nobody has seen before. I dunno if this is a good thing or a bad thing lol.

If you don't mind I'd like you to keep me updated on your work when you can? It seems over the next 18 months it's going to be the Chelle and CQ show 😁

My simulator will make all particle research obsolete, because it will show how matter originates out of nothing.

The last couple of years it’s been ‘the Chelle & CQ show’ ... not a lot of other folks around.

Anyway hip hip hooray it’s my 10y anniversary today!

A decade: 19-11-‘09 to 19-11-‘19
