What's the strategy for increasing luminosity over the year?

There was a mini-Chamonix on 15th July where the LHC team were discussing ways to maximise integrated luminosity over the reamining year.

Does anyone know the conclusions of the meeting and whether or not they now have a strategy?

Take a look at the vixra-blog from Phil Gibbs:

There is a link to the slides from Mini-Chamonix too:

Most interesting related to your question would be R. Assmanns talk:
"Machine development - results and plans – critical results, what’s to be done?"
it sums up the options they have at the moment.
Interesting too is the "UFOs update" with some statistics and a record breaking
UFO with an estimated peak radiation of 148Gy/s.

That UFO was just a friendly reminder that they must not draw the thresholds too far because if real deal happens they still need to get the beam dumped before something explodes.
