The LHC Portal now has a facebook page. Make sure to go add LHC Portal as a activity or interest in your profile. Make sure to like it too.

If some really smart person here can somehow get stuff from page 1 or some auotmated updates to somehow post to the Facebook page as a update... that would be might cool indeed. There are a number of ways to send updates to facebook, sms, email... So there must be a way. :)

Don't forget to update the Portal links. I'd get rid of the Google Groups link too.

OK you were just too quick man !!!... Each time I did something you had just posted to do it !!

Yes I linked the accounts, yes I posted to the linked FB and it did indeed twitter..

I made a better logo for FB use. Lower rez with sharpening..

I got rid of google groups.. ( wow we think alike ) and added a nice facebook page with a app..

So we need 25 people to like us and that will make things better for a URL and make us more official..

So everybody go to facebook and like us !

Do IT NOW

I refuse to have anything to do with FaceBook.

I don't trust it.

It's certainly vastly overrated but there isn't much to be afraid of. They can only take what you give them :)

Actually I find Twitter much more useful.

How about Google plus?
The link below should be an invite.

They don't have corporate accounts yet and have a real name policy but I've seen some semi anonymous folk still there besides who's to say that Mr Portal doesn't have a funny first name of LHC. :)

To my mind Google are worse for privacy. Best quote I've seen "I love the way when you sign up for Google plus that Google act coy and pretend they don't already have your personal information" ;)

Facebook have - Your personal info

Google have - Your personal info, your email, your search history *and* pictures of your house. ;)
