Given the press misreporting of science I suppose it's not surprising that they called it a weasel when in fact it was a marten.

CERN’s Large Hadron Collider experienced a “severe electrical perturbation” that “damaged” transformer connections due to a “short circuit caused by fouine,” according to a briefing that the organization published. I like that headline :D

But the vast majority of the press have described it as a weasel in their headlines even if they later go on to admit it is actually a marten later in the article. Such scientific inexactitude is inexcusible !!
