yeah, i noticed its intensity drop like a sack of bricks on the BRAN count rate chart..DCWhitworth wrote:Beam one dumped according to Status Op.

Indeedy. We're all awaiting it - which is why I'm up waiting for data to look at, and not tucked up in bed.Xymox wrote:Different subject... From the CMS Page "gather the experts in preparation for the first physics fills of the LHC."
I think its approaching time...

don't you think this "Ramp" in the schedule is quite interesting?
Ramp until now was used to reach higher energy (1.18 TeV for instance ^^).

I think I trust the Status Op page more on this. I've seen it cut out before if data is lost but not drop so I'm guessing the drop is accurate.Texanguy wrote:weird, eh? ._. or am i just missing something?DCWhitworth wrote:Yet page 1 still shows beam on at 1.22e+10Texanguy wrote: yeah, i noticed its intensity drop like a sack of bricks on the BRAN count rate chart..

From LHCb log book :
This makes it clear now.Beam 1 with 4 bunches was kept for 45 minutes and then dumped. LHC page 1 is stuck again (LHC is working on
fixing it).

I think it's an error in the display system (as opposed to an error in the LHC workings)Texanguy wrote:Page 1: Global Beam Permit=Except? what does that mean? ._.

Re: *** COLLISION ALERT ***
Yes it did and then dropped
