HI!
I have been interested in particle physics since the 60s when I was in grade school. I read everything I could get my hands on pertaining to the subject. Later, affairs of hemp and the heart led me away from formal pursuit of the subject. Through the web, I have been following the achievemets of the Tevatron at Fermilab since 2001. I began following the LHC early 2006. I was glued to my monitor for first turns in 9-2008, followed closely by the incident in sector 3-4. During the repair period, I would check the website daily watching the progress. I am excited for the return to physics, and marvel at the continued improvement of the machine. I guess you could call me a geek. And proud. I thank you Chris for the awesome site.

Anyone who doesn't take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted with large ones either by Albert Einstein.
