LHC portal

This is amazing...

2 weeks ago this site did not exist. Today I discovered the forum has too many people and posts for me to keep up with !... Its also obvious now that you guys have gotten better then me at watching the LHC..

There have been many emails with key CERN people, and a lot of fun collaboration work with forum members.

The forum has been extremely educational for me as well.

Wow..

This is really way beyond anything i could have imagined 2 weeks ago.

You guys/gals have been great. This is great fun... Just a thanks for such a fun project so far.

So. As I am overloaded,,, don't feel bad if i dont see your post. I will need PM's to get my attention on stuff most likely. Im sure its going to get to be way more busy here in the forum.

I am also going to need to set up moderators it seems as I cant keep up with everything. I will work on this and see what I need to do. I need a plan.

We can also reorganize the forum if you want, add more categories or subcategories.

Im open to adding things to the portal overall as a whole.

i dont have any forum moderator experience prior, but i'm willing to help with what i can..hah :} and of course, all of us users thank YOU, xymox, for bringing this forum about. really is an awesome place.

Huge thanks to you Chris for setting this up. It's given me (and I'm sure many others) a huge insight into this amazing project that I would never have had the time, dedication resourcefulness to find out for myself.

I love the notion of the human race pushing boundaries, the idea of exploring the unknown has always fascinated me whether it be science, exploration or whatever. I'm determined to be as close to things as I can when this machine breaks records.

The amount of work you must've put in to find all those pages that were here when I joined is astounding - and I'm glad I've got involved in the whole thing, too! It's been good to meet all the people here and the members from CERN (as well as seeing their comments on the site).
