Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Hi Thein,
I claim I always tryed to give this ideas and other controversial ideas in other threads here in the forum a chance.
The problem of Ivans theories is that he doesn't give enough information to let others come up with experiments to proof or disproof his theory. He also doesn't offer any experiment which could proof or disproof his ideas.
He only claims that his theory is absolutly true and obvious and that the only conclusion from this must be to stop the LHC, he doesn't give any experiments which could be checked first to find out if there is any truth in his ideas, but only sets it vup as something what is highly dangerous and any try to proove it including the operation of the LHC would necessaryly destroy our planet.
So the problem is not necessaryly his theory itselfe but the inability to find or help other to find a proof or disproof for it and the request to stop the LHC based on something what cannot be proofen but only seems to be true and obvious in the eyes of the author.
Even when he comes up with some rare math examples to strengthen his theory at least some of them are mathematically wrong what doesn't make his theory impossible, but also doesn't give us any aditional trust in his ideas.

Ivan you're making me sad now where are you

Nice article about the legal case
Interesting read: from another (legal) viewpoint. This article decribes the case (I guess it was Ivan's):

I guess you are actually right. I did not take that into consideration; however, regardless of his arrogance, there should be a tiny consideration for what he has to say, at least.
Though, more than likely he is wrong; his arrogance leads his way.

Ivan's theorys have been considered carefully by many many people, on this forum and elsewhere. Are you saying that even though we have already done this, and decided he is a nutter, we should continue to encourage him? To what purpose? So he can scare more people? He needs help...not encouragement.

I don't think these days Ivan is even bothered about here or anywhere else, for along time yes we did encourage him to give us proof and maths but he never did, do you know he has been AWOL for nearly a month? this worries me because i actually liked having him around, does Ivan need help yes will he go and get it no, I don't know where he is these days but i hope he is living life and being happy either that or he is in jail go figure hahaha personally the only reason i write here is the hope he will pop in and tell us all that he is happy

Ivan is ummm one of kind too say the least lol, he thinks he knows a lot but it seems he don't, I like the guy and to be honest i am worried because he has been gone so long, he thought he was right in his own head, nothing or anybody will ever change this for him because he is stuck, but there is part of me that hopes that maybe just maybe he knows he is now wrong just wish he would come and tell us that

Ivan worries me too. How come he hasn't posted anything since April 26th?
Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
I hate to sound mean but.......
Ivan has carefully constructed his own bed, and carefully ignored any advice from others. While I do have sympathy for him, he has determined his own fate, and must take responsibility for it.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
I don't think anything bad happened to him. IMO it's rather that the theory that LHC will destroy earth at 7 TeV is quite a dead horse now so there is no reason to continue posting about it.

This is very true But he could still come and tell us he is ok maybe he will show up sometime in the future with something even more mind boggling than his last theory

Maybe he left on that comet he was always talking about without even saying goodbye.
