Re: Mental illness
If you are that confident that CERN is puting us at risk, how about contacting physics professors and telling them about your ideas?

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
If you are worried about heavy ion collisions, you have slightly more than half a year to stop them. How about contacting physics professors from different universities, or presenting your idea at a science conference? Maybe writing a paper would be a good suggestion as well. Your pictures and analo...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, you made a very big progress last week. You found a new job, and you even acknowledged the fact that your theory might be wrong. How come you are so pessimistic again?

What are you exactly afraid of? Magnetic traps, BEC or fireballs?Chelle wrote: I agree with Ivan if he says "Nuclear physicists are all criminals now." these experiments are no longer nonchalance, as I first thought. I wish I could hitchhike my way to an other planet, cause the whole lhc is bogus.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, do you think the fireball seen in midwestern US was indeed the result of a meteorite shower?

Shadowdraxx is quite right. For the past few pages, I lost track of what you guys were talking about.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
But I said that this source of energy will work from 1000 seconds to 1000 days, because the first formula is incorrect. I would rewrite it in the form: M_{n} + p = .. = M_{n+1} + e^+, where M is magnetic dipole ; index near M is the number of bosons in dipole magnetic hole. If you subscribe to this...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, please stay positive and don't let the fear get to you. Somewhere in the back of your mind you already know that we are not going to die, but you can't help but being frightened at times. It's natural, and many of us know exactly how you feel. You need to stay strong, and not freak out over ev...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
The probability to die in air plain catastrophe is about 0.000001. Yesterday about a hundred of authorities of Poland had died near Smolensk. The probability to explode the Earth by creation of droplet of BEC or FDC at LHC is about 0.5. The tradegy in Poland is very saddening. It reminds me why I h...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, hearing about your new job is great. Your probabilities are lower than before, so you should be calmer after we survive a large number of collisions. Hopefully you can put most of your fear behind you soon enough.
Best wishes.
Best wishes.

Re: question about "dumb holes"
My questions were asked after reading Chelle's comments on the subject. Put it together with the fact that CERN bothered mentioning this subject in their safety report, and you have a legitimate reason to be slightly concerned. Yes, I'm aware of the meaning of the things I'm talking about. I already...

Are you sure you know what "curiousity" and "being polite" mean? Because if you did, I would not expect such a condescending behavior from you.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, how are you doing? Some of us worry when you disappear on us for too long. Did you accept the fact that magnetic holes were impossible to be produced in 3.5 TeV collisions?
