Welcome in a quiet place.
Dont feel rejected once you will not find many people her in the next time.
Its not because of you but because of a just started constructionwork to the LHC.
We all will hopefully be back here once the experiments continue with doubble strength in 2015.

Congratulations to LHC and the 5 teams tking care of it.
congratulations for finishing a 3 years run of datataking , collecting 31/nb in both of the high luminosity experiments. And also congratulations for finding the Higgs boson what is not so special standing for itselfe but played a special role in completing the standard model because it was the one ...

Re: Scrubbing??
I understand that, but I wonder what the long time scrubbing is for, is there really so much time neded to clean out the electrons or is that time for test and adjustment to find the right settings?

Re: Scrubbing??
Why is scrubbing for 2 days in a row now necessary before they can stat to do proton-proton physics with 25ms spacing of the bunches?

Re: Higgs aether
Ok, I got your point.
Its sure an interesting question, but as far as I understand the topic the higgs field wou8ldnt show thees effects proclaimed and disprooved by Micleson etc.

Re: Higgs aether
can you pleas explain why there could be any dependency.
If not why then this question?
I think its not leading to anything to question dependencies of anything to anything else without having a rugh idea why the one could influence the other.
