Re: False Vacuum
Am i dumb here or can I not see any direct reference in this paper to a man made object, or furthermore any direct evidence that this theory exists in reality (that we are indeed in a false vacuum? Edit: im not trying to disprove your comments or anything rather missing a nights sleep and such im fi...

Moderator; Instead of continually warning the Beast about his Russian postings which he insists on making, I suggest you ban him from the forum. Personally I think he adds nothing meaningful when he speaks in English and I doubt if he is more meaningful in Russian. I see his being banned as an impr...

Re: Nostradamus comes on board
did u hear about the secret new world order base under denver airport?
that place has always intrigued me, not so much the mad theories but the place is indeed a strange place with indeed sections very highly secured and not accessable.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
really? where does it say that collisions @ lhc are dangerous? But ECM is surely not the right measure of the capacity of a collision to trigger exotic new phenomena. If it were, a batter striking a major league fastball would be performing a far more dangerous experiment than any contemplated at a ...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Maybe he'll be more relaxed if you checked his calculations and point out exactly why he's wrong. Start from where? hmmmm thats the key to this entire thread and everyones point against Ivans theory, there are no calculations, its all "I think", "I give" etc etc. So if we to look at the higgs mecha...

also worth noting by your own "calculations" we should be gone already Ivan, as we are still here discussing it, well clearly you are wrong, in some assumtions.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
ok so the energy involved is high but the density is low because it breaks into the smaller fragments (which creates the plasma). I think he is saying if the smaller fragments hit each other at over say 10x the density and nothing happens why would this?. I still dont think there is an issue, but ma...

aye so basically nowt to worry about, just to make some hot plasma, but not energetic enough to cause concern.

@ Spencer: yes, that's why I will especially sad if we lose Spirit now due to some dumb sand trap. Built for 3 months of operations on Mars... lasted 5 years (and counting)... and that's for BOTH Rovers!!! thats the main reason i think its an awesome project and those 3d hi res pictures of the land...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
ok ok chill your beans, Ivans claims have never been backed up by any mathimatical evidance that can be looked at, because there is non. Ok heavy ion collisions are of academic purpose only they energy released inside is nothing high enough to touch any very hypothetical theory. Stephen, i am away n...

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
well Ivans claims are wild and so is his style, but he always stays on point, always ready to defend his beliefs in the name of what he feels is right, and you always generally get a human reply back, not just some load of non related jibberish.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
after re-chewing over this published document: http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/0806/0806.3381v2.pdf There was indeed a (hypothetically speaking), chance that previous colliders could create mbh's depending on what i believe is the size of the extra dimensions and what amount of warping is involv...
