Re: Evidence that LSAG withheld revelant CERN information
Eric seems to have disappeared ever since the heavy ion experiment started with no catastrophic results.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
I absolutely agree with you, Chris. Physicists have no reason to assume energies beyond those of cosmic rays are safe. Fortunately, I don't think we're going to surpass nature in our lifetime. I believe my first forum post also dealt with that issue. http://www.lhcportal.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&...

Re: Lead collisions
I'm glad to see the transition to heavy ions went as smoothly as possible. And more importantly, that we were not eaten by strangelets or vacuum bubbles.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan - an increase in the neutrino flux can be caused by solar activity, rather than your magnetic holes.

Re: Evidence that LSAG withheld revelant CERN information
Eric, you haven't managed to disprove the astrophysical argument of the moon's existence. Because of that, the rest of your claims are pointless. Here's a recent review of our knowledge concerning cosmic rays http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/0904/0904.0725v1.pdf As you can see, we have direct mea...

November 6th is now the likely date for the first lead collisions.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
But if the email turned out to be true, wouldn't it mean Ivan managed to predict something?

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.
Ivan, random emails are not a reliable source of information. There is no reason for us to believe them, especially considering the fact the guy suggests there to be a technical error.

Re: Evidence that LSAG withheld revelant CERN information
The probabilities given by CASTOR for the creation of strangelets, do not contradict LSAG, because they operate under the assumption abnormal events in cosmic rays are strangelets. Meaning they're saying that if strangelets are indeed the cause for the abnormal events, they have a 1 in 1000 chance o...

Re: Eric Penrose
tswsl1989 - but what about the contradictions regarding negatively charged strangelets, and the disputation over the moon argument? Is there a solution to the apparent contradictions you're aware of?

Eric Penrose
Has anyone heard about this guy and his paper? http://www.heavyionalert.org/docs/CERNContradictions.pdf I presume there is no need for us to pay attention to this paper? I'm clearly aware of the fact he's trying to spread fear, but I must admit the table in pages 9 - 12 managed to put doubts into my...

Re: Sanchos claims - Any merit whatsoever?
Thanks for the article. CharmQuark sent it to me earlier. I understand strangelets are not going to destroy the world, but it would help knowing Sancho's background and past claims, in order for me to be able to ignore him from this point on. I know he's considered a real crackpot and he helped Walt...
