Re: 666

Dissociation is not the same as burning, is just makes a plasma. Has been done already. Assuming wih "burning" you mean "oxydation with oxygen", there isn't much to burn, except for making peroxyde, which is also not very exciting. What is it that the experiment has to prove? Hi Tau; I think you wo...

Re: The Energy Frontier

My guess is that what you are talking about here is so far in the future that we will have learned a lot more before they even start laying bricks for it. So worry about it now is a waste of effort as far as I am concerned. LHC is here and now. Let us learn what we can from it. If it prove what you ...

Re: The Energy Frontier

Their theories don't matter. Once they decide to go higher than cosmic rays, they'll have no safety reassurance. If they decide to bet or risk it anyway, it'll be a crime against humanity and we must stop such a stupid action. You are beginning to sound a lot like Ivan with your crimes against huma...

You may call it controversy but I call it pure and simple the ravings of deluded maniacs no thing more. :angry-screaming:

I can't wait for the LHC to restart so that there is something a bit more sensible on this site.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.

I am extremely skeptical that Ivan is capable of doing that. So far nothing he has written here or on his web sites so far show even the slightest ability to do what you are asking of him to do. Personally I think the best thing we can do with Ivan is simply ignore him.

Ivan's score for what?

As far as I can see he hasn't made a point yet so how can he possible have a score. :wtf:

Hi Stephen

I think just about anything Ivan says is too much. The little bit he says that even sound like it could have a scientific principle behind has been discredited years ago. I think calling him a crackpot is being way to kind. He needs a padded cell IMHO.

Hi Ivan

Have you ever consider writing for Hollywood? With your overactive imagination and their propensity for producing disaster films, I see you as good match for them. :goodman:

I think I figure out where Ivan made his mistake, he was standing to close to the Volkswagen dealer and mistook the VW Phaeton for a planet.

Re: Several biggest errors of particle physicists.

I think you are fighting a losing battle here. Ivan has his mind made up and listens to no one about anything. He will keep up his ranting and raving as long as you allow him to remain here. I have given up reading his drivel. I think it is a waste of my time to even read it now. I think you are to ...

Re: Magnetic monopoles found?

That's true, but the LSAG report also says that even if a light proton eating magnetic monopole will be created, it will ruin only 10^18 before leaving the earth. My question is what will happen to the solar system as a result? Because that seems like a pretty fast rate of destroying particles. Hi ...
