153rd LHCC Meeting - OPEN Session
https://indico.cern.ch/event/1254283/
Page 14 of the Status of Accelerator document shows 1.3fb/day for 2023, if I understand things correctly, an improvement from 1.1fb/day for 2022. I was under the impression that it was around 0.8fb/day in 2022.

Re: 2022 Operation
See post by M. » Sun Aug 07, 2022 11:49 am I found the post (which wasn't trivial because of time zones :D ), but that link only shows luminosity plots. I was looking for things like real-time tune, chromaticity, and so on. Basically, what the dashboard did before it froze permanently in 2019 :-( I...

Re: 2022 Operation
150th LHCC Meeting - OPEN Session https://indico.cern.ch/event/1156732/ Longer than expected sector 23 training, issue with RF cryogenics and LHCb VELO readiness led to a shift of the schedule of 2.5 weeks: first “official” stable beams on July 5th Injector beams are in good shape for LHC operation ...

ATLAS & CMS target: 160\fb; baseline: 190\fb; Run3 + 1 year: 270\fb. The next few years will be very interesting in seeing what they will eventually achieve.

135th LHCC meeting https://indico.cern.ch/event/744723/
From page 19 there's been some cryogenic issues as far back as June and July with the failure of two compressors. These will be replaced in TS2 removing the current limitations.

Re: Looking ahead to LS2 and Run 3
Interesting; I thought the plan a few years back was to accumulate ~300\fb over run3, whereas now it seems to be little better than what's already possible ~150-200\fb

Re: 2018 Operation
I think the aim is to achieve 150\fb in total for 2015-2018, working out at approx 60\fb for 2018, and making Run 2 a great success even if nothing else has been discovered since the Higgs. Currently averaging 4\fb/week, I can see this being achieved by the start of MD3; so perhaps the remaining tim...

Re: 2018 Operation
The 2018 data-taking run at the LHC has begun: https://home.cern/about/updates/2018/04/2018-data-taking-run-lhc-has-begun The LHC operators will keep ramping up the number of bunches, aiming to hit 2556 bunches in total. This will help them achieve their target of 60 inverse femtobarns (fb-1) of pro...

Re: 2017 Operation
Schedule has been updated: https://beams.web.cern.ch/sites/beams.web.cern.ch/files/schedules/LHC_Schedule_2017.pdf It looks as if they've reallocated two weeks from the proton-proton run to 5 TeV p-p Reference & Low Energy High Beta run. Currently hitting > 3\fb/week so ~ 45\fb for the remaining 7 w...
